Choose a year.

Each year is its own space, written for the Australian Curriculum.

Prep to Year 12, in order.

We call the first year of school Prep. It is the same year as Prep in Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania; Kindergarten in New South Wales and the ACT; Reception in South Australia; Pre-primary in Western Australia; Transition in the Northern Territory.

What is in a year, and how much

Every year from Prep to Year 10 is written and sequenced, across the learning areas of the Australian Curriculum v9 (Languages from Year 3). After it come 11 senior starter units in each of Years 11 and 12, which lead to no certificate. This is the 2027 edition.

Every lesson is whole: a worked example, practice with hints, a check, a task your learner chooses, and a look back, with a short guide for the adult.

Right now that is 2306 lessons, about 2323 hours across Prep to Year 12, or 77–319 hours per year level.
